Life's Challenges and Gifts

I am not in a position to critisize and judge, but you would agree that events which happen all around the world sooner or later echo in other parts. I am not feeling any change since the US election result came up, but I know that it would reflect in some of the areas of our lives at some point of time.
Indian government has also surprised us with a sudden scrapping of 500 and 1000 banknotes in order to extract black money from turnover. It created a real panic and hurdle among people as not everyone had proper information what it was all about and why. Right now things are better and getting calm and in order slowly.
Politics, economics and world problems aside we continue our lives because this is what we have to do for our families, we have to move on and continue dreaming, hoping and believing.
And honestly speaking, I don't care as of now about these big things, because our family has got a real challenge to deal with. On Tuesday I received a bad news from my dad that my mom broke her shoulder joint bone. She is going to be operated today, and the surgery is not the easy one. I cannot tell how much scared and worried for her I am because she is not young of course (not old either) and the fraction itself is dangerous but surgery I dread more actually... I pray she stands the operation well and gets fine very soon! She promised she would be fine my summer for sure. My little mom... I miss you so much, and I am sorry I can't be with you right now when you and dad need me so much... I rely on our good friends and family whoever are left in the city to take care of this situation. My papa is a great help to her these days! And I know he always tries to cheer her and me up. He made smile many times yesterday when I was talking to him on the phone.
November is my and my dad's birthday month, and our dates are just back to back. :) How cool is this? :) Next month, December, is also wonderful and magical, and I have started preparing some handmade New year decorations which I will showcase a little later.
Recently I have started following some of the wonderful upcycle ideas by Jill of Creating my Way to Success, and here is what I came up with: my first sock puppy. Hmm, looks slightly creepy but kind of naive too, maybe because of the colour. I have some more bright and cheerful socks to upcycle, so more sock animals to come.
In addition, I am in the process of making an up-cycled clothes purse/clutch/wallet. I absolutely had no plan of HOW to stitch this purse, how to cut pieces properly, so it is rather tacky and totally handmade looking. I am also not sure how to close it and what kind of handles to attach, but I am in love with the idea of re-purposing old clothes. I have also started making T-shirt yarn and probably will make a storage bag - they are really useful around the house.
To sum up my today's blog post on a positive note, here is a little gift my D got from his colleagues from Russia yesterday. Can you say how happy I am? I have two Russian dolls now! One is a nesting doll with two more inside her, and this one contained a VERY Russian surprise - a small bottle of vodka :P
So, cheers to life, to our families, to their and our health!

Difficulties, Discoveries and Dreams

Hello my dear friends! The week has come to its logical end... the working week though :P The weekend is yet to begin. Yey! After my last complaint about unbearably hot weather in our city, the sky has had mercy on me and others, and we have been having rains and clouds on and off since then.  I cannot tell how exhausted I was in the past few weeks. Physically and mentally. But things seems getting more clear and resolving at last.
Oh yea, so what difficulties were (are) there that I had to mention them in the title? Many many things going on here currently. And nothing, what I learn again and again, is obtained with ease, especially, when this is something very important to you. We had to deal with loads of bureaucracy, paper work, calls, e-mails, calls again, e-mails again... We had lack of sleep, preparing for something, we had few arguments too and nice talks as well.
Dream keeper by Whimsical dreams
About discoveries now... We had to learn things about each other, something which may not have showed up in other situation. For example, I appeared to be very hesitant in talking to people, asking them something... D appeared to be rather impatient if things go not the way he wants. And much more I guess. The fact is that unless we started some important process in our lives we would have never got so many chances to sit and talk and discuss, and laugh, and encourage each other. We are nearing our 6th marriage anniversary - still so much to explore! We also had to discover that not all those who call themselves your "friends" are indeed "friends". Some events show their true face, true thoughts, true intentions. It is sad but angers me too. However I let it go... I understood that family is most reliable and most valuable in my life.
In addition to discoveries, I had to take a help from one of my university teachers in Moscow and coordinate things with her. Besides the fact that she was the only one who decided to help me and knew what exactly had to be done, she also appeared to be a blogger, and I enjoyed reading her insights in her personal life, her professional endeavors, and, most interesting, her poetry... How exciting it is that we discover something like this about persons who we seemed to  know but actually never had a chance to know better.
Ah well... and dreams. They are big, fat, promising, hopeful, and happy. We really expect that they realize as soon as possible.

I hope that everything is fine in your corner of the world, and that you also have dreams which keep you going...

Walks in the Rose Garden

Hello and how are you my dears? Phew, the month of March is getting over soon! Where the days are being swallowed? The week starts and it's already mid of it... Not enough hours in a day and not enough days in a week.. Can we invent just one more and call it suppose Extraday? Eh? No I guess this is just imagination...
On a serious note... These days I always think of what is really important in life and what we shall let go... Seeing horrible and scary things happening
around the world, which show that life of someone (including animals) means nothing, what are we left with? Can we make a change?
I am dreading the moment my D turns on the TV... news... nothing positive at all there, he says too... the world will have to come to an end some day... We fear for our little son because things are not looking so good in terms of child safety in India, but then where is safe? No guarantee anywhere. If I was not a parent now it would have been easier to simply live life, but when you have a child all you think of is how to keep him happy and healthy. At the same time one shall be happy too in order to provide a good environment at home, where everyone feels secure and cozy.
Hence I would really prefer concentrating (as mush as selfish it sounds) on my family. Thinking about what happens tomorrow is useless, having fear of all the bad and negative is similarly pointless... That's why I have (and make) one choice which is family.
As I had written before we always visit gardens on weekends. Lately we have been liking the Rose Garden a lot. It has a vast area, beautiful roses to admire, and fountains. The latest is little A's favourite - he loves water in any form and calls it "mam, mam" in Hindi (meaning "water" as here it is called for little kids). Here is the last to last weekend walk, when the weather was slightly cloudy.

I love this kind of color - cream, creamy pink and orange... Next time we visit Rose Garden, I will take more photos of these beautiful flowers.
And the last weekends' walk... Little A likes this garden too, and I think that the pleasant noise of the fountains and overall green surroundings calm him down. He runs in front of us, exclaiming happily with every step.
The waxing crescent... It was so bright!
By the time we were leaving the garden the twilight set in, and we were able to witness beautifully lit fountains.

Yes, it is a good place to divert one's mind and to just walk  and spend precious time with the family.
I realized that I had not posted some very interesting events and occasions during the period I was away from blogging. Like5 days in  Moscow, and visitng my home town. Do you think it is late to do? Or would you like to see the Russian capital? Let me know so I can plan the posts for you my friends.
Have a nice day, and may life be secure and safe wherever you are!

Changes and challenges

Hello my dearest friends! Phew... First of all, everything is fine here in our small city beautiful Chandigarh :) It's just we got a little busy, a little lazy, but very happy too :)
Our baby boy is going to hit his first birthday next month! Wow! Time doesn't fly, it knocks you off your feet, without letting to take a breath and stop a moment... My boy grew and changed so so much since last year... He has got 2 lower teeth, he now can stand with support and he is very active and impatient to explore the world!
My boy's hand... in January when we were going to meet my mom at the Indira Gandhi Airport... His hand is a little bigger now of course.
A beautiful pouch gifted by my very good blogger friend Preeti from Create -E-witty Unleashed. It came handy and very convenient to take along everywhere I go!

You know how many times I was collecting photos for you, was going to write about my life these days... but I guess I still feel too tired, and head is too full of thoughts about my child now, that I stop half way and leave the idea of opening the blogger... But I never ever stopped and stop thinking about all of you! I hope everyone is doing great and healthy in their cozy homes :)
We are welcoming the monsoon season here, this year, it has arrived on time hopefully. It is extremely humid here, though temperature dropped down from +40 to about +33 in day time :) It makes me happy you can understand how much. This summer I am finally travelling home!!! After 2 years! I am so excited as this time we have planned something new for out trip, I will tell you about it later.
I resumed my office half day and now running between home and work, work and home...I lost loads of weight since last year, which is not unusual when you breastfeed but somehow makes me worry as everyone points out at it. I really need to take a good rest and change the surroundings, get energy from my family and my country, gain some weight, eating the food of my home...
Overall I try to be busy and try not to dive too much into housewifing, however thinking of an opportunity to be with my child home full time and take care of him better than I do now. Thanks to my in-laws for their support and care of their grandson, but children have to be with their parents, not speaking of how much happy my son is when we both are around... he misses us a lot while we are away!
Hence in order to fulfill my plan or a dream, I am trying a new venture - retail business. The idea was given by my D, so I started just few weeks ago and posting mainly on Facebook. Here is the link to my page Authentic Indian Suits if you are interested. I am trading Indian traditional wear - suits, of which there is a great variety and a huge range of designs and shapes!!! I am planning to create a website too whenever I have time...
So don't give up on my blog, I am still around my friends!

Have  a lovely day ahead! Take care!

Positive Blogging and Becoming Positive

"... If I have seeds and can make flowers grow the garden won't be dead at all - it will come alive." - The Secret Garden, Frances Hodgson Burnett.
It came to me many a time that I represent myself a much more happy and positive person in my blog than I really am.  One reason is that blogging for me is a way of reflection on the small things I do and surrounded by and in which I find joy and comfort. I do share some worries and little frustrations too but all the major part of my quite anxious nature stays somewhere there as soon as I start a new post. I don’t feel like complaining and nagging, and weeping over all the problems which come in and go away. I simply cannot complain when I upload another picture of a colourful crochet work or a beautiful sunset and write a small caption to them – life becomes much much happier the same moment, I feel I am blessed with so many things that sounding off feels like a sin to me.
Of course my husband is the one who takes it all first, who always listens to me and understands, and helps to come over all the worries and doubts. Living away from your native land in another land which differs from it is not easy. Sometimes I do feel lonely here, sometimes I feel that no one understands me, that no one cares, that I am on my own … it is not true though but it makes me tougher and possibly stronger.
I am not sure why I am writing this particular post today but I “felt like it” – the words of our friend who explained why she again came to India. So I “felt like it” and writing is one of the things you are free to do because and when you feel like.
I suppose I am not alone in this thinking that at times public blog doesn’t reveal a whole person, but just a few features of his character or even can present a person quite different from who he/she actually is. I am not saying that when I show my crafts or tell little things from my life in the posts, I lie. No, it is me too but in my case - more optimistic. I really want to transfer this attitude in my routine, be it sunny or rainy, cold or hot, whatever. My baby needs a smiling and cheerful mom, and the same dad of course, who fell sick by the way, but I encourage him to get well soon (also by the means of medications and traditional home remedies – tea, honey, lemon etc). I had to keep away from him (no hugging and moreover kissing), yea, baby rules!
And about blog name change… Whatever but I am always so much thrilled with the support you get from a blogging community! I got so many responses on my latest post and I am once again thankful to all of you for giving your opinions, and at the same time supporting my decisions. I will let you know soon, as right now I am in the process of name confirmation, but need to approach my D in his busy schedule to ask his opinion too - he ultimately is also a huge part of my ramblings hereJ.
✿✿✿ Have a wonderful day,and stay positive!✿✿✿

Hobby Time

You know that I have already expressed my worry regarding ability to do hobbies after I get busy with my baby, but I am sure with time I will find some place for them too, just need to get used to new routine. Four days ago I started prenatal exercise classes after my office hours – a useful and a pleasant activity. I will be getting rid of feet swelling which has already begun a little, and also relief mild back aches. My belly is not that big yet ( I hope so) as to cause me much discomfort and I feel well too, but oh, I am so grateful for the time we live in – so many things to use for your benefit. My mom never attended such classes, she was anyways fine when pregnant with me, but who knows, may be many health problems could be avoided if those were available that time too.
As of now I am still free to do my hobbies anytime and anywhere. I don’t get much of work these days and pass my time in the office by reading books. Recently I finished “Little Women” by Louisa May Alcott, “Wuthering Heights” by Emily Bronte, I also found Hermann Hesse’s “Siddhartha” in the net, and read “The diary of a young girl” by Anne Frank. The latter shook me - may be not the best read during pregnancy, but what is done can’t be undone. I am still under impression of this story.
To other hobbies. Before New Year I found real pleasure in cross stitch. Since then I haven’t done much of the projects but I am not in a hurry. One of them I already presented. The cat became a part of a postcard I sent to my parents. I stopped with this hobby for a while, as well as other things, when I was in some kind of depression after pregnancy news (yes, now I know it was that). When my mind cleared and all the pregnancy related business took over me, I began enjoying myself again and renewed crochet and cross stitch too.
Not long ago I made one simple cross stitch which is called Valentine’s birds, but due to the limited number of cotton colors I had, it turned out of a different style, though I like it this way and want to use such color combination (or black and blue, pink and so on) for other projects in future.
After that a wonderful (as I consider it) thought came to my mind to cross stitch a Russian doll! I wanted to have a Russian doll in my house for long, but only now realized this small dream. I purchased gorgeous colors of Anchor and Rose cotton , and I LOVE this cutie in her blue kerchief! My D is also liking the doll. (Update* The doll hasn't been finished yet, I am thinking of putting it into simple wooden frame).
s
The flower I put in the middle is a Russian  pattern from a beginning of the 20th century lithography found on this cross stitch dedicated website. I am thrilled to revive it in modern days! The doll pattern itself came from Danceneedle. I have many other projects in my mind, particularly with traditional and old Russian patterns, let’s see when they get realized.
Besides I finally made another item I not only wanted to have but also needed to – a pincushion.I saw something like this on the net. It consists of a crochet granny square sewed to the fabrics cushion. The snips of it I used are from my Indian suit. The cushion is filled with polyfill and yarn scraps. I need to buy more of polyfill by the way. The pincushion is such a simple but a handy little thing!
I suppose this is all for now, enough to inspire me to finish what has been started and begin new! Thanks a lot for all your sweet and kind comments, they make my heart happy and lift up my mood immensely. Have a lovely weekend and take care!!!

Tourism Week - Coffee Festival, 3D Art Exhibition

We are on the verge of Autumn I believe. Why not sure about it is simply because the temperatures still raise above +30, and occasional rains are the traces of the monsoon season, which was supposed to end by now. I do like the weather in Chandigarh in the last couple of days, which makes strolls much more enjoyable. Last weekend the whole our family (me, my D and in-laws) went out to have a look at what was happening at the Tourism Week. One of the proposed events was the 3D art exhibition at the bank of Sukhna Lake. Here are some of the exhibits.
Open Hand - a symbol of Chandigarh city invented by its creator Le Corbusier. I liked the colors of this composition.
Another Open Hand sculpture in a shape of a boat.
A peacock installation. Very creative.
Some kind of 3D figure with bits of glass hung inside it.
A closer look of the same. This part of Tourism week was quite interesting and new to the citizens. A sit was Sunday the lake's bank was way too crowded, what I didn't like, as you were not able to walk properly there.
However I shall disappoint you regarding the International Coffee festival. Perhaps we were late arriving there, but it was not at all that great as the posters all over the city promised. When we came in the hotel where the festival was held, the interior and arrangements were encouraging. The flags of Ethiopia, Turkey and other countries-producers of coffee welcomed the guests.
I was totally wow at the view of the hall... and a giant cup of coffee in the middle of it!
Sip, sip... will be enough for the weeks to come! We proceeded to the room where the coffee was supposed to be coffee tasting.. . buts they said that "it finished yesterday" though festival days were from 28 to 30 f September. I don't know may be coffee itself finished... So overall it looked like a simple cafe, where you could order coffee and snacks. Me and my D honestly hoped for a better presentation of countries and their products, for better information on the event schedule and so on. We wished that the event was more eventful.
So mainly our Sunday walk was done by car as we kept on moving from one place to another. Later on in the evening we indulged in favorite things - reading,  crochet, TV watching. My D lately has been deciding about his career prospects and planning to do some good short term course. I also have plans for a better job in India, and recently applied for PIO card (Person of Indian Origin card) which would give me much more opportunities and would raise hopes for finally finding my place in this country.
I hope all of you are doing fine, and my American friends were not affected by government shut down much. I wish things get better soon for everyone, as you know the whole world is interconnected, so are we.

Upcycling and Lavender Obsession Weekend

It is never enough when you have only one weekend day. Saturday is already not a weekend when you spend 8 hours in the office and come back home in the evening just to have food and sleep. And Sunday looks like this: all the house work and outing plans, and all the crafting plans are messed up, and the day runs so fast, you won't notice it is already evening... Though we watched a movie Raanjhanaa yesterday (yea, I know a bit of Hindi), I wish I had one more day off. My favorite word here is "nevertheless", yes in spite of all that I squeezed few minutes of hurried crochet.
Here is what it was - making of T-shirt yarn! It is a wonderful upcycling time pass, which brings a lot of joy as you have to cut, tie, spin, and weave it. I collected few of my old clothing items for this project - one T-shirt and two capri. I need much more and my D already showed me some of his old stretchable track pants kept in the cupboard... He knows what a girl like me wants :)
After all the cutting I got the stripes, which were tied together and spun into a ball of yarn.
Isn't it all mixed, crazy-colored and much shabby? I started crocheting something with it already, and would show this soon when finished.
My D looking at all of that process, noticed: "You haven't done yarn shopping for a long time now...". I said: "I am busy with my blanket, so don't need to buy more as of now". His reply was: "That's okay, I don't mind". Hehe, he still remembers I spent quite much on yarn last time but of course, if I say I need more of it we will  buy. A pleasant addition to t-shirt yarn were these buttons I cut from one of the capri. I can re-use them somewhere else.
I wanted to share my latest obsession with lavender color and lavender fragrance. Here are few latest purchases - lavender cream, oil and soap. They smell wonderful! All of them are Indian cosmetic brands. I also have lilac-lavender face wash and one more bottle of oil... Somebody stop me.
While writing about my happy times, I was continuously thinking of emergency situation in Indian state Uttarakhand. People there haven't had any food for 5-6 days, and rescue operation is not able to save them all at the same time. The rains are coming and today there has been an alert that land sliding have happened again. How much a person can take? How much more suffering? All in God's hands but here he is selfish and  deaf, and letting people rely only on each other. Nature has no mercy at times.
I wish you to have a peaceful and safe day, be happy and cherish every moment of life.

If We Could Choose What Tomorrow Might Bring

It feels absolutely ages since I've last posted. It feels that this week has been some kind of a race for us: at work and in life... My D's colleague's little son was in a critical condition in the hospital after appendix removal. My husband had to go to the hospital few times a day, arrange blood units, talk to doctors. But today we have got news that the baby is improving, and I pray that he recovers now soon and his mother will be able to embrace her little one finally :)
On the other side, I had a totally great Friday, as we held a summer camp teachers' training with my colleagues. It was my first such experience as a trainer, and in my opinion, I was able to deliver the content well, interacting with the teachers and the trainers during my sessions. After 3 hour training we got a permission to go back home, but we didn't :) And a friend-colleague of mine offered two of us to visit her house. We had lovely girls' time, chatting, laughing, discussing the training and our work (of course), having coffee with biscuits. When I came back home, I still felt so excited and happy, so content; whatever the feeling was about, I couldn't not to notice that unusual energy inside me when I realized it was time of the Full Moon. Of course, it was She, silent and bright, generously giving its best to those who need it.
Even when the full moon day was gone, I had its traces in all what I was doing. I started a cute crochet project. Here is just the beginning, but I've done almost the whole doll as of now. I don't know if she comes out to be beautiful and cute, but I tried hard to make her such. I shall invent a name for her, once she is finished.
I had a pleasant surprise from an HR manager of the company I work for - REAL Turkish coffee! From Israel... :) It happens so sometimes, and this is just great! I can't make out what's written on the packet - my  knowledge of Hebrew unfortunately didn't advance beyond alphabets determination, but perhaps I'd start learning it anew. This gift so much timely, as I ran out of coffee I brought from home last year.
Now the "brew of Gods" (Magaly ;)) is stored in my special painted glass jar, and  what is the best - it is purely MY, as no one else (except my D, who occasionally asks for a cup of this fragrant drink) likes it as much as I do. I don't really remember when this coffee drinking started, but I suppose when my uncle came from Germany about 10 years ago and gifted us a coffee maker. Since then I've been in love.
Life goes on its own I believe, not asking us what we would like the day to unfold... It just offers us what it has. The main thing is to always have someone who takes care of you, who loves and who will always be there (and here) for you.
Have a blessed week, my dears!

Victory Day - 9th of May (9 мая - День Победы)

Last year I also marked this day in my blog, because this was the day which will always stay in my memory and in the memory of all people who were less or more linked to the fight against fascism in World War II. But to tell the truth there was no family who didn't feel the consequences of that war... You ask anyone about that period between 1941-1945 and they would recollect that their grandfathers and grandmothers fought for freedom. My late grandparents were also there, and they were there when Nazi Germany surrendered to Soviet Union army on the 9th of May. However all the countries suffered irreplaceable losses during the World War II. So why do we still fight and kill again and again? Don't we love our own people? Don't we want our children to live in a better world? Didn't we learn from those mistakes?
Today I wish everyone of you, your families and my family to live in peace and harmony with the world and themselves. Let the sun shine bright and give us life and happiness!

Happy Victory Day - 9th of May!

Summer Blanket and Something New - Wednesday Update

There is not even a single day without us hearing that some tragedy has happened.Yes, I am talking about the attack in Boston, the earthquake in Iran... the waves of the latter we felt even here, in Chandigarh. All the news channels concentrate on these two "events", creating more anxiety and hopelessness. I am really grateful that me and my family are able to start this day and enjoy its beauty. But I wish we all could...I wish we could live without fear being attacked or killed or hurt...
But as we are here now, we keep on living and dreaming... and blogging. We have to bring more happiness in the world. And many of us do. With the idea of 52 weeks of Happy for example, or by posting nice pictures and saying kind words to each other. I really feel that the blogger community can make the world better, let's think how.
Day before yesterday I was sitting in my room in the evening and heard a strong deep meow at our backyard... I smiled. It meant that some cat came to us. I rushed there and saw a grey furry creature standing on the wall and looking right back at me. I hurried back to pick my camera and took few snaps. Here in India people usually don't keep cats as pets, so you would generally see pet dogs, but cats.. they just come and go. Last year there was another cat who used to come to us and we used to feed it, but then she disappeared... For me, a cat lover, meeting a half wild cat, and moreover, almost in our house, is such a treat!
Oh yea, you must have recognized this already. It has started having a more blanket-y look. I feel it is going to be a great result  thanks to all of you who made me believe in this. If I continue working in this tempo, I'll
Here is how many more squares have come up and need to be stitched together soon. This way I'd have 23 blocks. I got a little bored with blanket crocheting and decided to make some little side project.
Here are three squares I crocheted yesterday evening. There will be only three of them. So could you guess what is it going to be?:) I will give a link to the square pattern later, when I find it in my laptop.
I am using DK acrylic yarn of Indian brand Vardhman. I like its colors and texture reminds wool a lot. I think of making a throw out of this yarn later on. There are lovely patterns on the Red Heart website which I pinned in my Crochet patterns. I like this one and this one the most, but others are also so pretty, aren't they?
Well, let's first rest our fingers and finish this small something. I am sure it'll be a useful thing in my room. Okay, enough hints for you now. I am off to do my job and look forward being back home and crocheting. Also I didn't forget about a promised giveaway on achieving 100 followers, so it'll happen soon.

Wish you to have a peaceful day, be safe and happy!

Let's "Grow Your Blog" Party!

Hello, my dear friends! I have a special post today as it's an eve of  a Grow Your Blog party, organized by Vicki from 2 Bags Full. I'm grateful  to her for this initiative and opportunity to connect to more lovely blog  writers. Vicki will start the event in the morning of the 19th of January (US time). Click the badge to see  her beautiful blog and also participate in a giveaway.
Since I've already told a little about myself in a special column to the left, I'm going to introduce my sunny world and thing I do to make it even more bright. I decided to keep the blog's name in relation to India, Hindustanka, as my life changed so much in this country. However, my blog is a blend of two cultures at the same time, which me and my husband represent, what I feel, enriches every aspect of our lives.
Firstly, I am a Russian a girl who tries to adjust in a new country, and accept a completely new to me culture. I live far from my parents, so this experience is not an easy one. But my dear husband (who I call in the blog "my D") helps me a lot and supports my hobbies and interests, and I have many of them, fortunately.
Secondly, the blogging became a real way out for me in the moments of sadness and feeling low. That's what I'm doing here: sharing, telling, connecting. The latter is the most enjoyable among all the blog's possibilities.
I started blog with a tiny post called Believe in which I kind of pledged "Many people are writing about India... They have different reasons for this. Then...What new can I bring to all that amount of blogs on this topic ever existed up to now? Can be unique and interesting? Yes, I can". Quite confident, isn't it? :) Then followed my first steps in exploring India as we visited
and other places of which I didn't even tell.
The other significant event of my life in India was when I renewed my hobbies, particularly, crocheting! This boosted my blogging as well, as I had a creative part to share now.

Of course, I also like to tell about my native country Kazakhstan, and about "dacha". I made quite a few posts about my last summer trip to parents
Redcurrant growing at my parents' dacha :)
Gardening is a hobby I picked from my parents. I'm trying to grow vegetables and flowers in my small Indian garden, it makes me happy. Been successful with marigolds and beans so far :)
So here I am, telling stories about my Sunny Indian Days with Russian touch, indulging myself in crafting and willing to continue my blog as farther as I can. Now I see that those weren't just words as I gained blog friends who take interest in what I write and in their turn, find time to comment and tell about their lives too. Thanks to you all! :)
If you wish to have a peek inside colorful India and beautiful Kazakhstan, get inspired to create and learn new things, you are welcome to join me in my journey, and I'll  be more than happy to get to know your worlds too.
***Have a happy day!***
